Open Road 2.008 kicked off on Friday night with 2 sets from Juggling Suns. The original plan was for a single day of music but when Juggling's Friday gig was cancelled we seized the opportunity to have an extra night of music.
Friday night was more like a private party with only about a few of the faithful making it to camp that night. The threat of rain seemed to keep some away but in contrast to last year, the weather cooperated to allow two nights of wonderful music under the stars for our Juggling family.
The most important part of any show, aside from the band, is the sound. We can always count on Rodger to be working hard at getting things just exactly perfect! Once again this year he provided the lights and soundboard (along with some extra equipment from Taper Mike Sullivan). Thanks Rodger, how sweet it was...
