The Juggling Suns rank at the top of my list of favorite jam bands. When I watch Mark Diomede ripping a guitar solo and listen to their wonderful songs I'm just as happy to be in that place as I was at every Dead concert. We've enjoyed the privilege of becoming a part of the Juggling family and personally getting to know each member of the band. We've seen many changes over the years however any band with Mark at the center will provide a great night of entertainment!
After I was abducted by their music, I wanted to dig deeper into their songs so I asked Mark for permission to compile a lyrics web site. With the help of the Juggling community, led by Taper88, I pulled together enough songs to get started. There is still more that could be done, lots of older songs remain undocumented and new songs continue to appear - most notably Mark's epic Art Of The Bell suite and most recently Tim's new songs. Some day I hope to complete the collection, meanwhile you can read the lyrics to some of their classics...
Pattie and I have been fortunate to see many shows and once I got a digital camera they became one of my favorite subjects to photograph. In the beginning, most of my pictures were posted on the JugglingBones message board so most of those reviews have been lost due to the inherent message scroll rate. After I became more comfortable with creating web pages I started utilizing that format for my pictures and reviews which you can access through the links below. If you like acoustic music like I do, you can usually find a Mark Diomede and Friends show somewhere around the Jersey shore, near his Point Pleasant home. We try to catch a show whenever we're back east and at one of those shows we even got to see the Birdman playing his washtub bass!
