The site for Open Road was a backyard in Fredericksburg, PA which borders the 15th hole of the Blue Mountain View golf course. You couldn't ask for a prettier location in Lebanon county to have an outdoor musical event.
As always our top notch sound crew mixed the sound so it could be heard perfectly from all areas. On Saturday evening, after the golfers were done, a group of us hit the course for some fun and we could hear Maple Grove jamming as we were playing the 15th hole. I played this course daily when I was on my high school golf team but never had such a good time back then!
There was plenty of room for everyone to pitch their tents with their clan and kick back in the open air listening to the sweet sounds coming from the stage.
Elise and Scott were the first on site and setup a kitchen area back in this tree area which also became the unofficial community center while they fed the tribe.
The whole weekend was really laid back and it was cool to stroll around and catch unusual happenings like Brianne creating this tatoo design for Al.
