I've seen a lot of shows in my lifetime. Pattie and I have traveled from the East coast to the West listening for the secret, searching for the sound. Living in Pennsylvania meant that within a 3-4 hour drive we could get to Philly, Baltimore, DC or New York to see shows and be home before daylight.
Since we moved to Ouray, Colorado in October 2003, our choices for seeing big name shows is quite limited. The reward for that sacrifice is that now we get to go to Red Rocks!

Our first show there was spectacular not only for the music but more dramatically for the breathtaking power of the majestic rocks surrounding the amphitheater. Because this magical temple of music brings me so much inspiration, I've decided to compile an online photo journal tour book of my concert experiences. It's about a 300 mile drive for us to get there so we won't be seeing a lot of shows like we did when we lived back East. When we do, I will try to get my digital camera into the shows and if successful I'll write another review to this tour book.
Bear in mind that neither words nor pictures can capture Red Rocks, you have to experience it in person. I'll try my best and I hope you enjoy what you'll find here but more than anything I hope it inspires you to come to Red Rocks and feel the magic for yourself!
