Visitors Center
Red Rocks underwent a major renovation recently that included a new visitor center. Inside you'll find a history of the area, interactive displays of performances and interviews, a hall of fame and memorabilia cases.
The acoustics in the amphitheater are so good that back in the early days performers would just stand in front of the Stage rock.
There's an impressive list of performers through the years including the Beatles in 1964!
The Hall of Fame lists the Grateful Dead as holding the record for the most performances there - 25 and counting if you include the survivor's bands Phil & Friends and The Dead.
