We spent almost 2 hours hiking out on the glacier. I wanted to get close to the big jagged peaks with the blue ice but this proved to more of challenge than I anticipated.
Eventually we reached the point where there were no more run off streams to follow and only ice to climb. I can skate and ski with the best but my hiking boots were no match for this ice field. I did manage to climb up a knob to take this picture and the close up of our original jagged peak destination.
