About 2 hours south of Anchorage is the coastal town of Seward. This is where you get on the glacier and whale watching tours in the Kenai Fjords National Park

We had to leave Anchorage at 8AM to catch the glacier tour and we were lucky to have a rare sunny morning highlighted by this sunrise over the mountains and fog lying over the wet lands along the highway.

The tour boat was really nice with cushioned seats around tables in the cabin and an open air upper deck where I took my pictures. We had about 200 people on the cruise and the captain was very good at spotting wildlife both on shore and in the water.
